Here we’re focusing on close-range combat, with squad coordination under pressure, and a look at some of the abilities and weapon modes you’ll have access to.
It’s been great reading your responses to the first clips we shared last week and what you’re curious about. Many of you asked to see more combat, so here’s how encounters like this are shaping up.
WHAT YOU’RE SEEING:
As Jun Aslan, you’re pushing through Khonsu’s interior corridors with Tom and Elise. The Ghosts you see deploying are ancient Celestial automated defenses, dormant in pods until the platform detects intruders. The kind of security system that doesn’t ask questions before opening fire.
Your go-to weapon is the Recycler, and you’ll see a couple of its modes in action. Repeater mode for ranged encounters and Shredder mode when enemies close the gap. You can easily swap between them on the fly.
When “go away” needs emphasis, you turn to your gauntlet ability called the Lance, which hurls livestone javelins for heavy damage.
